Butlers put together the absolute perfect itinerary for my family! Everyone at Butlers was a pleasure to work with. Emails were answered promptly and all my questions were throughly answered. Our driver Mick was the best of all! He was absolutely wonderful and made the entire trip so easy and stress free for myself and my husband. He had fantastic suggestions for small detours and additions to the plan and took us everywhere we could have possibly wanted to go. This was especially appreciated on our last day which really was just scheduled to be a straight drive from Galway to Dublin when he suggested stopping at Sean's Bar in Athlone for a pint. It was a fantastic addition and made the last day much more fun and enjoyable. He offered a great running commentary on what we were seeing, giving us information we would never have had otherwise and was very easy to have conversations with. Honestly, the trip exceeded our expectations and he is a huge part of the reason for that. Job very well done on his part, and I would recommend Butlers to anyone traveling to Ireland.

After doing a Butler tour, I never want to tour any other way. I went on a big bus tour 18 years ago, and had to sleep the whole time because I get super car sick. This time, it was just my party in a van with our driver and I got to actually see the countryside! They were SUPER accommodating and we were able to pivot when the weather turned on us (only one day, thankfully!). Our driver/guide, Mick, was fantastic. He was able to bring us to less touristy places that really helped make this trip special. Some of the best memories from this trip were the little side quests that we went on, that Mick recommended. Since we did do the super touristy places (cliffs of Moher and Blarney Castle) AND their lesser known counterparts (Cliffs of Kerry and Trim Castle) that I had never heard of before; I can honestly say, I prefer the lesser known places. I’m not sure I would have appreciated them as much as I did without also going to the tourist trap spots, so I certainly don’t regret going. All that to say, I’m so glad that I had a guide that could bring us to and tell us about the areas we actually wanted to see. All of the hotels that we stayed in that were recommended to us, were wonderful. I would honestly recommend this tour company to anyone going to Ireland. They made everything so easy and a delight.

We spent 10 wonderful days traveling around Ireland with our driver, Paul, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Paul was incredibly knowledgeable about Ireland’s rich history, and his stories brought every place we visited to life. He went above and beyond in every way — even helping us track down our ancestors’ home, which was such a special moment for our family. Beyond his professionalism, Paul was an absolute delight to travel with — fun, friendly, and always thoughtful. He made the journey as enjoyable as the destinations themselves. We would absolutely use his services again and highly recommend him and Butler Travel to anyone visiting Ireland. Thank you, Paul, for making our trip truly unforgettable! 🍀

To say we had a great time on our trip is an understatement! We recently returned from our vacation as a family of 7 and we continue to miss our time in Ireland. A big part of this is because of our driver, Alan. He was fantastic. He took what would have already been a great itinerary and customized it to create a truly special experience. He did a great job of observing our dynamics and interests to determine what would be a good fit for us. We were able to see places and take in areas of the countryside that we would not have known existed. On top of that, he provided us with an abundance of knowledge and information that helped us truly immerse ourselves in the experience. He was incredibly accommodating, friendly, and funny. We miss him already!!! Overall, Butlers was a great company to book this trip through- Martina made the process so easy and was always available to adjust the itinerary as needed with no issues. I would recommend to all my family and friends. I hope we can return sometime in the future and have Alan as our driver again😁

Took a Blarney Castle tour with Butler today. Ian and Stephan were our guide and driver. You need to request these two guys! They got us to the castle in a very efficient, safe manor where we were first in line when the doors opened, which is huge because the line gets long, fast. Ian is a lifelong resident and knew Cork just as you would expect a lifelong resident would. He was a wealth of knowledge. The bus was very clean inside and out and Stephen navigated the VERY large bus on really narrow roads like a pro, which is what he is. The directions were spot on and the “Red Hats” made it easy to spot the guides at every stop. Worried about getting back to the ship on time? Don’t! They will have you back in plenty of time. HIGHLY recommend Butler Tours, request Ian and Stephen!
