Designed for those who have completed Stage One, the course focuses on improving sailing techniques across all points of sail, including tacking, gybing, and ropework. Participants also learn essential skills in collision avoidance and course navigation, ensuring they can sail safely and confidently in a variety of conditions. Each session is led by trained and DBS-checked instructors who provide hands-on guidance, encouragement, and expert instruction in a safe and supportive environment. Parents and spectators are welcome to watch from The Boat Shack or terrace, allowing them to observe the children’s progress and achievements while enjoying the lakeside setting.
All necessary sailing equipment, including buoyancy aids, is provided, allowing children to focus fully on building their skills and enjoying their time on the water. Throughout the course, participants are encouraged to challenge themselves, improve their boat control, and develop speed and confidence while refining their existing sailing abilities.
