PADI Advanced Open Water Diver

Advance your diving skills with the Adventure Diver course at Dive2gether Crete in Plakias. This three day course is designed for certified open water divers aged twelve and above who want to increase their depth limit and explore new specialties. Complete five adventure dives including the mandatory deep and underwater navigation dives, which allow you to dive to thirty meters and improve your orientation underwater. The other three adventures can be chosen from a wide selection of specialties such as digital underwater photography, search and recovery, peak performance buoyancy, boat diving, and night diving. Small groups and personalized instruction ensure high quality learning and safety throughout the course.

Each day begins at 830 am at the dive shop with gear fitting and a full briefing. Days include a mix of shore, boat, and night dives. The deep dive and boat dive take place on the motor cruiser Philomena, where you learn boat safety, safe entries, and underwater navigation. Night diving teaches torch communication, nocturnal wildlife observation, and compass skills in low light conditions. After dives, you can relax, rinse your gear, and enjoy freshly baked traditional Dutch pancakes. Transport to and from dive sites is included if needed, and air tanks and weights are provided. Theory e-learning should be completed in advance to prepare for the in-water exercises. By completing this course, you will gain new skills, confidence, and the ability to dive safely in more challenging environments.
