Advance your scuba diving abilities with the Rescue Diver course at Dive2gether Crete in Plakias. Designed for certified Advanced Open Water Divers aged 12 and above, this comprehensive four-day program focuses on improving safety, confidence, and teamwork through realistic rescue training. With small group instruction and experienced professionals guiding every session, you will develop the knowledge and practical skills needed to become a more capable and responsible diver.

Each training day begins at 8:30 a.m. at the dive shop before continuing to carefully selected dive sites. Through a combination of classroom learning and practical exercises, you will master essential rescue techniques, including self-rescue, assisting tired or panicked divers, towing injured divers, performing in-water rescue breathing, surfacing unresponsive divers, and administering CPR in controlled conditions.

As the course progresses, you will apply these techniques during realistic open water rescue scenarios that build confidence and strengthen decision-making under pressure. Transport to and from the dive sites is available when required, while air tanks and weights are provided, allowing you to focus entirely on developing your rescue skills in a safe and supportive environment.

By the end of the program, you will have gained the confidence to recognize and prevent diving emergencies while responding effectively when assistance is needed.
