We stopped in to have a drink. I had a Guinness and my wife had a Crown & Coke. We knew it was the touristy version of a pub, but when in Dublin do as the tourists do. The price for two drinks was like Las Vegas bar prices. What a crock of crap that was. We paid $32 for the two drinks. Believe it or not, Temple bar was the only bar we found in our Ireland travels that actually served Crown Royal Whiskey, our favorite. That may have been why the price was so high **** I make silent travel videos and review hotels, restaurants, bars and cool places and their amenities. Like, follow and share on Y0uTube. Didn't have food... it seems more of a drinking place. And it didn't disappoint. Atmosphere is electric. Absolutely worth going. The outside is sparkling and the inside is amazing. Due to it being a tourist attraction the drinks are really expensive. We had two drinks for 27€ .... live music was great. A pleasure to visit
Iconic, one of the most famous pubs on earth, visiting it is mandatory when in Dublin. Aesthetics are 10/10 either outside or inside. Always packed with people from all over the world, which creates a lovely atmosphere but also makes it difficult to find a seat. Live music was lovely. Prices a bit extortionate, but you are going for the history and the atmosphere.
