Such a beautiful hike and for only $6, many travellers we talked to said it was more worth it than going to antelope canyon
I visited the slot canyon in Buckhorn Gulch from the Wire Pass Trailhead and it was absolutely stunning. The trail was relatively easy to traverse, with just a small stair and a few moderately narrow sections. As the sun started to set, the canyon became even more beautiful – the colors and light were unreal. I easily could have spent hours wandering the offshoots here. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area.
This slot canyon is amazing. The slot itself is fairly easy and has 3 vertical obstacles that my 80 and 79yr old grandparents were able to navigate (with help) though they're hardened country folk. Do be sure to venture off the trail where you can as there are some hidden areas that are very much like the Wave without all the hubbub and fuss. Very climbable areas though the rock can be a bit slick. Slot is amazing and ends in a T shaped oasis that is its own amazing destination.
