Slovenia 2025 Just back from a week with Colm and his crew in Bovec. We were a mixed skill level group from just qualified Lvl3 to 30+ year Lvl5’s. Colm and co had the resources, skills and local knowledge accumulated over years of paddling these rivers to give each paddler a once in a lifetime paddling experience. (River sections range from lvl2 upwards, something for everyone). They organise the accommodation, know where to paddle, have boats and spare equipment, and organise the restaurants in the evening. Shattered after being on water 11 times over the 6 paddling days. Couldn’t have had a better time and learned loads. … and the scenery is stunning.
I was also on the Slovenia trip with I-Canoe and fully support the previous review comments. All logistics on and off the water, from meet up at the airport to return to airport, were absolutely flawless. It’s the way to go if you want to focus on your paddling and not worry about organising things. Looking forward to next year with I-Canoe already.
