Nice place but the experience is unfortunately ruined by people who can't behave.
We rented a kayak with transportation from the company to paddle from Mölle to Arild. The day before our trip, we called to check the weather, and the staff advised us not to paddle around the area, but instead to stay along one of the coasts and return to our starting point. However, he did not specify which coast or provide clear instructions, which was confusing for us as first-time visitors unfamiliar with Kullaberg. On the day of the rental, the company sent us a photo of the prepared kayak and equipment by the sea, but without any text or explanation about the exact location. The photo could have been taken anywhere, so we assumed the kayak would be in Mölle, our planned starting point. We spent two hours searching the harbor in Mölle for the kayak, but could not find it. After receiving no response from the company, we gave up and went hiking instead. At 4 pm, the company finally called to inform us that the kayak had actually been prepared in Arild. By then, it was too late to start and impossible for us to reach Arild (no car or buses available), and the weather forecast for the next day was poor, so we were unable to kayak at all due to the lack of clear communication. When we raised our concerns, the company initially blamed us, but eventually refunded our money, which we appreciated. While this may have been a simple misunderstanding, it was frustrating not to be able to do the activity that was the main reason for our trip. Clearer instructions and better communication would be very helpful, especially for first-time visitors unfamiliar with the area. We do appreciate the refund. Thanks.
