1 Bedroom Waterfront Cottage

All rooms at Snug Harbor offer stunning views of the water. The waterfront cottages overlook Assateague Island, Chincoteague National Park, the Wildlife Refuge, the lighthouse, and wild ponies grazing across the channel on most days. Guests can enjoy a peaceful and relaxing setting while observing the natural beauty of the area.

Snug Harbor is one of the longest running establishments on Chincoteague Island. Visitors can experience the charm of the islands with sand, palm trees, and surf. The cottages vary in layout with options including studio style with one queen bed and a full size futon or one bedroom with a queen or full bed plus living space with a futon. Some cottages allow up to two dogs with prior notice for an additional fee. Pets must be crated if left unattended, and crates can be rented or brought along. Check in is at four pm and check out at ten am.
