Snug Harbor offers premium single kayaks, double kayaks, including sit-in sea kayaks and sit-on-top ocean kayaks, as well as Old Town canoes for exploring the waterways around Chincoteague Island. Guests can choose a four-hour rental from either 8am to 12pm or 1pm to 5pm to explore the marshlands and island scenery at their own pace. Rentals include a map and general information with recommendations on the best areas to explore based on weather, tides, and wildlife sightings. Launching is easy from Snug Harbor’s private ramp, making it convenient for families, couples, or solo adventurers to enjoy a half-day paddling experience.
