To operate the boat, the driver must be born in 1987 or earlier, or have completed a NASBLA Boater’s Safety Class if younger, and must be at least 21 years old. Boating rules require following no-wake zones, avoiding passage under bridges such as those in Weeki Wachee or Aripeka, and prohibiting towing, tubing, skiing, or use of grills and flammable items. Late returns incur a fee for every 30 minutes delayed. At check-in, the driver must present a valid license and proof of safety certification if applicable, and all passengers over 18 must sign waivers before departure.
