Concealed Carry Training: Building Confidence, Safety, and Responsibility
A comprehensive concealed carry course at Outpost Shooting Range is designed for firearm owners who want to develop both practical skills and a strong understanding of legal and ethical responsibility. The program emphasizes conflict avoidance, situational awareness, defensive decision-making, and the legal frameworks governing the use of force.
Instruction begins in the classroom, where participants explore safe concealed carry practices, firearm handling principles, and the various methods of carrying a handgun discreetly and securely. Equal attention is given to personal accountability, ensuring students understand the serious responsibilities that come with carrying a defensive firearm in public settings.
The course then transitions to a controlled live-fire range session, where students reinforce marksmanship fundamentals and safe handling techniques under professional supervision. This practical component helps translate classroom knowledge into real-world skill, with a strong focus on consistency, control, and safety at all times.
With small class sizes and the option for private instruction, the training allows for individualized guidance tailored to each participant’s experience level. All students must meet eligibility requirements and be prepared for both theoretical and practical components. Overall, the program at Outpost Shooting Range offers a structured and supportive environment for those committed to lawful, responsible, and informed concealed carry.

Customer Reviews
I had an excellent experience at Tampa Carry taking their Free Florida Concealed Carry Class! The entire process was seamless from start to finish — signing up was simple, the location was easy to find, and everything ran right on schedule. The class itself was very informative, engaging, and well-organized. Our instructor was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and great at explaining everything in a clear, easy-to-understand way. He covered not just the legal aspects of carrying, but also real-world safety practices, situational awareness, and responsible firearm handling. You can tell he’s experienced and genuinely passionate about helping people learn how to carry safely and confidently. What really stood out to me was how efficient and smooth the whole experience was. There was no wasted time — everything was explained thoroughly and respectfully, with a perfect balance of professionalism and approachability. If you’re looking to get your Florida Concealed Carry Permit, Tampa Carry is absolutely the place to go. Great instructor, great class, and a truly valuable experience.
