Lovely family friendly, relaxed campsite with the most amazing views and generous well spaced out pitches. The honesty ‘shop’ with homemade focaccia, cake and granola (as well as lots of other essentials) is a lovely touch, and hot water at the washing up sink a luxury I did not expect at an off grid campsite. Showers are hot and clean and the whole site is very well cared for. I highly recommend The Hide, and will definitely be returning. Diolch yn fawr Geraint a Jemma - mi welwn ni chi blwyddyn nesaf!
We have spent eight years staying in various lovely camping spots around Pembrokeshire. Last year we stayed at The Hide for the first time and fairly soon declared that we had finally found 'the' campsite. We returned again this year and were not disappointed. Jemma and Geraint have managed to create a perfect, peaceful site, which both encourages the natural world, and provides campers with everything they could need. The pitches are spacious and well placed, so you can keep to yourself if you wish. The layout however also makes it easy for children (and adults) to make new camping friends if they wish. Lots of little touches make all the difference - the lovely hot showers, the flowers, the honesty shop ... My kids loved going to the bird hide and spotted all sorts from there. This year we also saw shrews, a badger and heard a mole all from our pitch. Jemma and Geraint should be very proud of what they have achieved ... though I sort of hope they don't get too popular as we want to come again next year!
Honestly the best camping experience ever. I've always camped and been to many sites, but this one just does it all right. It's quiet, beautiful, stunning views, amazing facilities which are clean and still feel part of the natural environment. Loads of really thoughtful touches including the snack cupboard with honesty box and help-yourself-fresh herbs which meant we could make fresh mint tea. This campsite has spoiled me for other campsites! Thank you so much 💜
