This is the first time I’ve ever written a negative review in my life! I’ve loved the ski lessons and all of the ski instructors were amazing and couldn’t have been more helpful but whoever the women are that work in the office and answer the phones, they really need a wake up call. I’ve never dealt with such rude condescending people. I rang once to ask if the lessons were still going ahead as there was a storm warning and she answered me like I was a 2 year old child. I then rang up today to see if I could reschedule or cancel my lesson as my car broke down and I live an hour away and before I could even tell her why I was ringing she said “yes the lessons are going ahead” and I had to interrupt to say that’s not the reason I was calling. People like this really shouldn’t have a job that deal with the public if they’re going to be in such bad form all the time. As a business owner myself that works with the public all day everyday, I could never talk or treat people like this.

It was tough to get going again, but very rewarding personally. Thanks to the instructors . They are all amazing, engaging, helpful & most of all patient

I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. In my view, some of the instruction is very poor and there is a ridiculous nanny culture at the club. They also act like they are the only people in the country who know how to ski. After what we both thought were some terrible ski lessons (the odd one was ok at best) from this crowd caused my partner to lose confidence, I brought her up for one of their practice sessions which we were both eligible for. We were minding our own business, following the signposted rules and were told after 2 minutes I am not allowed to show her anything. I offered to go up to one of the baby slopes but that wasn't deemed acceptable either. Ok that's fine if that is your rule so I didn't continue and handed back my boots and skis. Won't give me a refund (only asking for myself), absolutely pathetic, I did all of a half a run and have no personal need for your carpet. They also weren't keen to accept feedback that some of their instructors are not up to scratch, which we also overheard other people in one of the classes say to each other by the way. My 2 cents, if you want to deal with arrogant busybodies who will teach you what to me is reminiscent of ski technique from decades past, this is the place for you. We saw other people struggling with the lessons and looking dejected due to such poor feedback. I felt bad for them and hoped they weren't permanently put off of skiing. You may eventually learn to ski if you keep going up to this club but from an observer who can already ski, do yourself a favour if you are considering this place and book yourself an extra day on the real slopes and avoid this shower. It might end up cheaper, and I think you will learn more in a day or two on the real thing with competent technical alpine instructors than you will in weeks with this crowd of part-timers on their terrible carpet.

Went for practice with friends before going on Ski trip and loved it. Staf is very friendly and helpful. Definitely going back for more practice.

Had a fantastic time at the ski club! Everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the facilities were great. Huge thanks to Allan for his patience and great instruction, he made learning to ski an absolute pleasure. Highly recommend!
