They were suppose to be closed but I phoned up and they let us stay had showers and toilets and plenty of outside space great for the children if you had any. The bloke was very friendly and settled us in quickly a great stopover apparently plenty of places of interest and walks nearby great views 😊
People are warm and welcoming. Great, spacious camping spots. You can make your own fire with wood they sell. beautiful view! If you’d like a warm shower it would cost you 1/2 euro’s but cold showers are free. Great price for what you get! Overall a lovely stay :)
We had such a great stay here over the Bank Holiday weekend. Fiona was so friendly and accommodating from the first phone call. The campsite is old school, rustic and relaxed. It has everything you need from kitchens, toilets, showers, playgrounds etc and everything is clean and maintained. There's a sense of freedom here with large pitches, campfires (you can buy bags of wood and kindling for a 5er), kids playing around you but the owners are aware of what's happening and walk around at night ensuring all is well. It was so relaxing and we really enjoyed our few days here.
