Such a special place. 5000 year old tomb with beautiful stone carvings. Key to access the interior available from a nearby house with a €20 deposit. Just drop the key back before 6pm.

Interesting place. What I found amazing is the echo inside the tomb when we are walking or make any sound. Great Megalith which gives a good experience for historians or history lovers. Wonderful place in mid of farming fields, from the top I witnessed the beauty of waving crop around. My luck, there was a lady already visiting the place, and allowed me in as well. So, I didn't need to get key from Mr.White.

Super cool experience! You have to get a key from Mr. White (eircode A42 FN40; €20 deposit) to access this passage tomb with 5000+ year-old Megalithic artwork! It's a private viewing!

This place was a proper little find. Totally inconspicuous, beautifully kept, surrounded by wonderful views. A little turnstile on the side of the road, maybe a 200 metre walk and there’s this lovely grass mound with a little stone entrance. Note: we happened to meet a man by chance who had the key to the tomb so he happily let us in. Nice fellow. There is a number there to call though for a key holder. It was so quiet, so tranquil and at the complete opposite end of the spectrum to Newgrange down the road. The carvings on the stones are very well preserved. The tomb is dark and a little chilly but not big by any means. A lovely look back in time at how our ancestors lived their lives. A nice leisurely 40 mins or so is all it takes. If you’re into old old old Irish history and traditions it’s definitely worth a visit.

Very cool spot not on many itineraries, but worth the trip. Amazing carvings in the old tomb and it was incredible to have it all to ourselves when we went. The homeowner with the key was so nice too.
