Paddleboarding Lesson

Experience a supportive and confidence building introduction to stand up paddleboarding with a lesson designed around safety, skill development, and enjoyment. Guided by fully qualified SNZ and ISA accredited instructors, you will learn the foundations needed to begin your SUP journey in calm and welcoming conditions. From understanding your board and equipment to mastering stance, positioning, and paddle techniques, every step is carefully explained while your instructor remains on the water with you.

Discover how to move efficiently across the water as you practice forward strokes, turning, braking, and essential self rescue techniques. With a strong focus on awareness of conditions and water safety, this session prepares you to paddle independently and confidently. For those who wish to continue practicing after the lesson, extended board hire allows extra time to refine your new skills. Children are welcome but must be closely supervised by an adult during the latter part of the session, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
