Surfing Lessons

Experience the excitement of riding your first wave with a two hour surfing lesson at Kalama Beach Park in Kihei. Designed for ages eleven and older, this session is the perfect introduction to surfing in a supportive and encouraging environment. Experienced instructors provide clear step by step guidance on the beach before heading into the water with you. Using stable longboards with soft top construction, students learn balance, timing, and ocean awareness in a safe and fun way.

Lessons are available for individuals, families, and small groups, with options suited to different age ranges. Participants must be able to swim and feel comfortable in the ocean. Younger children can join semi private or private sessions based on age. Instructors stay close in the water, offering hands on coaching and building confidence with every wave. This is a great way to connect with the ocean and discover a new lifelong passion.
