Southend Pier won't dissappoint you! Excellent place to have a walk around and get some fresh air and coffee or seafood afterwards. Beautiful side. You will need to Reserved good 30 minutes to walk one way or you can take a train. Have a great time in the longest pier in the world.
Came back in 2013 with my family on weekend break. Lovely long pier and was a nice walk, i remember some of the the boards being loose and thinking I would fall through but i hope that this wouldnt be an issues many years after visiting!
I visited the pier when the remembrance poppies were there, a magnificent display. Although the walk back up the pier was long the best part of the experience was the railway museum. I do feel like the pier is missing attractions, there's a lot of seating but nothing to do.
