Full Moon Kayak Paddle

Experience the magic of the full moon with our Monthly Full Moon Kayak Tour at Mizell-Johnson State Park. Participants set out with glow sticks in hand, guided by our knowledgeable tour leaders as they navigate the calm waters of the intracoastal waterway. The tour offers a unique opportunity to enjoy the serenity of the water at night, surrounded by the soft glow of moonlight reflecting on the surface and the sounds of nature all around.

As the adventure continues, paddlers explore the peaceful mangrove trails along Whiskey Creek, taking in the beauty of the natural environment under the full moon. The tour concludes back at the Whiskey Creek Hideout, where participants can relax around the campfire, enjoy S’mores, and refreshments, and share stories of the night’s journey. This experience combines gentle exercise, nature exploration, and a sense of community, creating lasting memories in a truly enchanting setting.
