Lovely walk to view the tunnel! We decided to do the walk as a loop following the blue track after the bridge! We got lucky with parking at the start although there is only a few spaces!

We did this track until the Hugo Tunnel. Nice, easy, and well maintained track. Would be easy enough with stroller.

Yup yup ride up. Hard to find a more picturesque trail with mostly easy gradients. Great cafes with new entrant "The General Store" [Trending] - Arthur's Point is a place to set off or come back to.

Great for hiking and biking. Did the Big beach access and Hugo Tunnel Trail on foot. Lots of bikers on this path. Big beach access get you to the Shotover river, highly recommended by foot. The view is incredible and peaceful. Be on the lookout for the red Shotover jets. 🤩🤩🤩
