Lofoteggen

Lofoteggen stretches from Kvittind to Vaterfjordtind and includes four distinct summits along a dramatic knife-edge ridge. The traverse offers extensive scrambling with some of the most spectacular backdrops in the heart of Lofoten. Surrounded by high peaks and with the Vestfjord below, this route delivers an unforgettable alpine experience. The full traverse takes 8 to 10 hours, but the day can be adjusted to match your fitness and ambitions. Many exposed sections require rope use, but the climbing itself is moderate, making it accessible to most hikers with mountain trekking experience.

Guides are IFMGA certified or aspirants to ensure safety and quality throughout the day. Climbers should have normal fitness, mountain clothing, and solid boots or shoes. All technical climbing equipment such as ropes and protection is supplied, while personal gear, transportation, and travel insurance are not.
