I should preface that I was a Dublin resident for many years, and needed a place to sleep during a pass-through before returning to the US.This is a decent budget hotel for those who require a place to put their head while exploring Dublin. They have a sufficient amount of amenities while being in close walking distance to most major points of interest. I would say this is more for someone on a quick solo trip or who doesn't intend to be in the room that long (if you get the basic rooms). I had a minor technical issue in the room, and it did eventually get resolved. The staff were professional and friendly. I would stay there again for a short-term stay if the price were right as it was last time.

I love staying at the Marlin. It's so easy to check in, the rooms are small but perfect for our needs. The bar and restaurant and 'food truck' are all great assets to the experience. I also booked a room for my son as he was staying in Dublin that night and he was blown away by the experience and will definitely stay there again. The location is perfect for a night out in Dublin city to attend concerts or theatre. Fantastic array of restaurants on the doorstep also.

The kind and generous personnel at the The Marlin Hotel Dublin offer exceptional customer service and attention to detail, always going out of their way to accommodate you. I've stayed here five times this year and have always felt welcomed and truly at home. The rooms are spacious, clean, and have comfortable beds. Conveniently located in the City Centre and to top it all off, it is quiet. All translating to warm, cozy, restful nights of sleep. I highly recommend The Marlin Hotel Dublin!!

Wonderful hotel with a very nice hall and design. The "king room" is an average size room but very comfortable (the bed was amazing) and the bathroom is very functional. The room was also very well cleaned each day and so were the common parts of the hotel. The check-in an check-out are very fast and precise thanks to the self desks available at the entrance, also very intuitive to use. The hotel is like at 10 minutes walk from the Liffey river and just a couple of minutes from the St. Stephen's green park and Grafton Street. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are staying in Dublin for the weekend or more!

Love the option to check-in at a machine, the cafe in the lobby, and the complimentary water bottles in the room. The common areas are great, very nicely decorated and quite "hip" seeming. There are several elevators that move very quickly, in my four days/three nights stay, I never once had to wait more than a couple seconds for an elevator. The Cozy King Room was very comfortable with a big comfy mattress and nice-sized bathroom. The entire room could've used a deep clean, there was significant mold on the bathroom ceiling around the pot lights and some marks on the wall. The sprinkler on the ceiling was coated in half a centimeter of dust, as was the area behind the TV. I will also note that the room is hardly sound proof, and I was woken up in the mornings by cleaning staff in the neighbouring rooms running vacuums and knocking into walls. I was also woken up by guests speaking in the hallways, not particularly loudly, or music from the bar downstairs (I'm guessing the bar downstairs because I didn't see any bars on the same street corner which could've been producing that much noise). With that said, I enjoyed my stay and would stay again, but do be warned about noise in case you're a light sleeper. I would also love to thank the receptionist Cindy, who picked up the phone when I could not get the Chromecast in my room to work. She tried to help me over the phone, but when I could not get it running, she came up to my room within a minute and helped me get connected. I was seriously impressed by how quickly she was able to help me and how professional she was.
