We had a wonderful stay in Birch Lodge in September. The location was stunning and the lodge had everything you could need for a relaxing break including g a sauna. Everywhere was spotless and the treats were really lovely. We saw loads of wildlife with red squirrels,an enormous hare and even deer in the garden one evening. The lodge is very handy for days out in the Highlands. Donna also recommended places to eat which were very good. Thank you for a lovely stay.
Beautiful location and serene views made for a very relaxing stay. It feels like it’s in the middle of nowhere, but it is only a 16 minute drive away from Perth or Dunkeld. The accommodation itself has everything you might need for a comfortable stay - fireplace and leather sofas, very comfortable beds, great internet connection (one of us had to work unfortunately). The hosts are great and made sure we settled in nicely. We would love to return in the summer.
We booked the Fern Lodge for an early birthday treat. Turning 30 has been certainly made easier after such a relaxing and wonderful stay at Pitlandie Wood Lodges! The lodge was absolutely spotless (staying with a 3 year old who loved pushing cars under seats/beds confirmed this!) We were left some eggs from Donna and Dave from their chickens and it made the most delicious scrambled eggs in the morning 😋 The grounds are just stunning and very well maintained. We stayed during Storm Babet (Red Weather Warning in force) and it made the experience even more wholesome with the 3 of us curled up on the sofa with the blankets provided and the heat from the log fire. Our 3 year old also loved the Games Room playing Ping Pong with his mummy and daddy when it was just a bit too wild to go explore the woods. We would absolutely recommend Pitlandie Wood Lodges to others for a relaxing break away. We can’t wait to return! 😊 Thank you so much to Donna and Dave for being such incredible hosts and for all the love and care you both put into these lodges. It’s very apparent and appreciated.
