Super fast delivery!!!! I ordered the beanbag refill on Sunday 12/21 thinking I wouldn't receive it until well after Christmas, it arrived yesterday 12/23 down in Kilkenny. I'm so impressed. Quick delivery and relatively easy to put together, but I wish there was an option for assembly, which I would have gladly paid for. For the cost of the garden furniture, Outdoor Living could have thrown in the propane cylinder for free, thereby gaining a long-term customer for gas. Nevertheless, the furniture looks solid.
Update 2: Received a call today, a week after cancelling, to say that the veranda I ordered on 1st June would be available for delivery mid-September and am I still interested. That's 16 weeks after I ordered, 8 weeks after I was promised it would be delivered and 4 weeks later than the second delivery date I was given. If they had of rang and said they could deliver it tomorrow I would have taken them up on their offer. Lads how am I supposed to trust you can deliver on time when you've burned me twice already?? UPDATE: Ordered a standard veranda here on the 1st June in person with an email confirmation stating delivery in 6-8 weeks. It's now 29th August, almost 13 weeks later and nobody could tell me where my veranda is. I cancelled my order. My experience would be very similar to Rob's review below who also ordered a veranda. I would advise other consumers to only order from here if you 1) don't mind waiting a whole quarter for delivery, 2) can walk away with the product in your car or 3) you can see the physical product in their warehouse. As it was due to be delivered in 6-8 weeks, I allowed the 6 weeks to pass by and didn't think much that nobody contacted me, but I became alarmed when 8 weeks came and went. Not at one point did I receive any communication from this company after ordering. I initiated all communication between us which isnt right when you're spending a few grand. I phoned them up after the 8 week delivery timeline and was ridiculed by a member of staff as she said they never deliver that fast and expressed her frustrations (as if it was my fault). I was supposed to have already received my veranda between the 14th - 28th July but she told me that it's not even due into them until 19th August. Why couldn't they have shared this date when they received it? When I asked how soon I could expect them to deliver after this date, they said within maybe 7 working days, sometimes more, totally depends on how much is in that shipment for the guys to unload. So I realised at this point I probably wouldn't have it before 1st September. I still waited, 19th August came and went and nobody contacted me yet again. I called and was told they didn't know if they received it on the 19th and that they didn't know where it was. I asked for a call back that day as if it was in the country if it was I was willing to wait for it. She did call me back but had no update and promised she would call me back on Monday. Monday came and went. Tuesday did too. On Wednesday I gave it until 4.30pm before calling. When I did, the delivery department didn't answer (deliberately maybe), so I rang back and spoke to someone else in sales who promised to find out more info. At this stage they had treated me like I didn't exist for so long that I just wanted a refund. In fairness the best part of the whole experience was getting a refund which I received into my bank account the next day evening. What this company don't realise is they're not a high end store who produce their own products. They are a logistics company who move products from A to B. Until they realise they're no different from DPD or DHL, they won't improve. I say this having been to their physical store where they don't offer incredible service. Their showroom is nice but the youngsters working the floor won't even make eye contact with you. So much so I had to wait for an older guy working there to appear. There is no knowledge sharing between departments - the youngster taking my order and payment had no idea that 6-8 weeks was unrealistic to say as a delivery timeline. Then again maybe it's a sales tactic as if I knew it was 13+ weeks I wouldn't have ordered as summer would have been over by the time it arrived. Their website still has a big "IN STOCK" call out on the gallery the same as it did when I ordered. It also has a new disclaimer in the small print saying it may take up to 2 months to be delivered. How can it be both?? It's also not a dropship product, it's a preorder.
