August 2025 Nice campsite that mainly caters to vans and caravans since all the flat spots are for cars. In the tent field it was really hard to find a kind of level spot for our tent. There is a fully equipped kitchen and it is located conveniently for exploring Loughcrew.

Excellent campsite. Great location with helpful and friendly staff. The campsite is a 2 minute walk to the steps leading up to Cairn T on Loughcrew. Very good shower and bathroom facilities in the camping area and the pitch area is very well maintained. Very reasonable price. Would recommend and will return in the future.

We stayed at this campsite for one night with a van and three people. The price was €30, which included electricity, showers, and all basic amenities. There are power hookups for vans, fresh water points, and a grey water disposal station. Large trash bins are also available. The campsite has a basic kitchen and a games room with billiards, air hockey, and table football. Everything is clean and functional. It’s also very close to the Loughcrew Cairns, which are free to visit. There are also free guided tours available, which is a great bonus. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Overall, excellent value for your money.

We’ve been camping as a family around Ireland this past 4 years, so wide experience of campsites. This is the most depressing and ill equipped campsite we’ve ever seen. No amenities in area, 2km drive in to it along a hilly narrow laneway, rough farmyard gravel surfaces, not level, severe slopes everywhere, nowhere for kids to cycle. “Games room” in keeping with 1970s theme. Minimal toilet and shower rooms, dating from god knows when. No shops or anything else nearby, just one derelict house across the road. The exclusive “glamping” tents are a sight to behold. Glad we only visited for the day, wont be on our campsites to visit list.

I have stayed at this beautiful place twice and will be back. Last year my husband and I stayed for a few days in our campervan. Just recently I stayed in one of the fabulous yurts with a friend and we were able to avail of a couple of workshops in the lovely space here. Amazing place. Very quirky. Great coffee shop and unique gift shop. Wonderful staff and the owners are super friendly and helpful. Great kitchen and shower facilities. To top it all off was the stunning summer solstice sunset from the cairn 🥰😍 Hope to be back soon 😀
