Booked this campsite at the last moment and I have to say it was a brilliant spot for the weekend. Staff are friendly and helpful. The campsite has a wonderful relaxed vibe to it and on the two nights I stayed there was a kids disco followed by a band on the second night. The band were very good. Cafe served coffees and take away style food. Toilets and showers were spotless and there is a wide range of activities to do. The campsite is also in a good location for nearby beaches. A supermarket is a short drive away. I will definitely stay rt again.
We stayed for 3 nights in August as our preferred site was fully booked. A large site bordering the main road to the ferry terminal.(Lot of night time / early morning road noise). Both of the male toilet blocks each have 5 sinks only one in each block has a hot water tap.!!! 3 in each have access to a shelf for your washing items. No coat or towel hangers either. There are two hand dryers in each block all 4 appear to be disconnected paper towels are provided. The toilet brush holders have faeces in them (did not touch brushes) Road noise has been mentioned in other reviews. Staff are friendly. We did not have children with us. We did not try the snacks in the Cafe. We would not revisit
As campsites go, it's pretty nice. Plenty of facilities and activities, the toilet blocks were modern and clean and it's not too far away from takeaways and supermarkets. However, what lets it down in a massive way is the fact that it is located right next to the main road to Rosslare Europort and the noise of trucks coming and going from there is 24/7. It is really hard to sleep with that level of noise.
