Nice place. They offer a self-guided tour or guided. They have old cabins, a pond, gift shop, and other cool things to see. The inside of the main house was a little disappointing as it didn't look restored but maybe that's the way the owner(s) wanted it.

Loved the historic interpretation guided tour. So much history tied to the current culture and people of New Orleans as well as the history of USA. Definitely recommend for people to see, explore, observe, and appreciate.

Its an experience I will forget hold in my heart. Its a MUST visit historical ancestry museum, I learnt so much that has never been taught to me. Staff was very nice and patient. Tour is very self explanatory and detailed. I loved the fact that you can listen to the recordings at your own pace and discuss with your companions instead of feeling rushed in a tour with people. If you book through Viator you will get pick up and drop off. If you dont book transportation, better get a car because its very far from the heart of New Orleans.

This was hands down one of the greatest experiences in my life, we did self guided tour and they equip you with sound to listen to each and every step in the 14 steps and added bonus commentary in between!!! Super educational, as i was very apprised of the entire scenario beforehand it was super easy to follow along and enjoy the experience, that's only a few photos from at least 100 I took that day, I would recommend this place 100 out of 100 times everytime!!!!!!

This was an awesome experience to go to, so humbling and eye opening. My 8yr old 6 yr old really enjoyed learning about the past and because of Nijia as our tour guide she was amazing. Her knowledge of the plantation was great and she really explained the parts of the tour well. I had only read books and watched movies on plantations, but seeing first hand how they lived and were treated was very eye opening the fact some babies that passed away had no names was very upsetting. Highly reccomend this tour to everyone coming through Louisiana.
