Lough Key Boats On Father's day this year my Family and I were fortunate enough to go on the Lough Key Boats tour. We thoroughly enjoyed the informative boat tour and the entertaining crew. From the moment we arrived until we left, they made us feel comfortable. The tour guide explained the sights and history of the local area with humour. Later that afternoon we also took a paddle Boat out onto the Lake. We paddled around the Island with the Castle on it. We all had a great time and I would highly recommend Lough Key Boats to anyone.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had a fantastic experience with Lough Key Boats! The tour was both relaxing and filled with fascinating stories that really captured the imagination of the kids. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and brilliant with children, they went out of their way to make the trip enjoyable for everyone. From castles and ancient monasteries to local wildlife, there were so many interesting nuggets of information shared along the way. A special highlight was the kids getting to sit in the captain’s chair; a moment they’ll remember! Highly recommend this for families visiting the area. A really lovely way to explore the beauty and history of Lough Key.

Wonderful boat trip around the lake's islands, a few very special islands too. Great history, guide is very knowledgeable and friendly/interactive with kids to keep them interested. A great captain too. Would highly recommend.

We loved the rowing boat experience! I had some doubts about how to book it, so I sent an email and got a reply really quickly. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by two extremely friendly and helpful lads! They explained everything to us and helped us get into the boat (there were four of us, including two very excited children – so you can imagine how much we appreciated the help!). It was a wonderful hour and a new experience that we’ll remember. When we got back, we were warmly welcomed by a lovely lady who kindly asked how it went and whether we enjoyed it. We’ll definitely do it again. Often, a big part of the experience is how you're treated – and this team is simply amazing! Thank you so much for your kindness!

Very nice experience and great way to learn about the history of the lake, its islands and previous owners. The crew were very friendly and knowledgable. The boat was very comfortable and clean. Nice activity for any type of weather.
