Truly an incredible place! The nature reserve is beautiful, peaceful, and everything I’d ever hoped for. We had a camping spot right by the river, which was perfect for my partner to go fishing. Each pitch has its own firepit (bring your own firewood), and there’s a general self-composting toilet available. I honestly can’t fault the place. Huge thanks to John for having us and Nick, who gave us lots of great tips. We’ll definitely be returning as often as possible!
We had an amazing stay in Riverhollow wild camping. Even if is fully booked, the way the pitches are disposed makes you feel that you're camping by your own in the forest. Really nice and well preserved natural reserve. Several hiking routes and beautiful views of the river. All pitches have their own fire pit. I'll definitely come back, I cannot recommend it enough.
Had an amazing nights stay at Riverhallow our only regret is not booking two nights! John was helpful on arrival assuring we found our spot ok. Toilet is well maintained and stocked with toilet paper/sanistiser. Water station near the main camp and lovely walk loops around the property. Pure gem of a campsite will most definitely be back!!
