We booked the parasailing, snorkeling, boat party and sandbar party with another couple. We went up first parasailing and received no instructions at all and the crew spoke no English whatsoever. Once in the air I noticed that the equipment was very old and frayed. The ride went fine for us but I was worried about equipment failure the whole time. When our friends went up they only had about 1 minute in the air before the boat suddenly stopped and they ended up in the ocean being dragged by the canopy. We asked what happened and one said something about the winch. Luckily a nearby boat was able to come and try to rescue them as they we getting dragged under water. There was a bunch of yelling and confusion as one guy jumped in to save them. Instead of cutting the harness off the ended up getting dragged back in every time they tried to pull them into the boat. They finally were able to get free and on the boat but were obviously shaken up as they could have drowned. Very unprofessional. They offered no concern or refund. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM
What a blast! The crew that did a fantastic job showing us step by step what to do for the snorkeling and hookah diving portion of the adventure. The natural pool was awesome too. It was a shame that the weather was a little rough during the morning and we didn't get to go parasailing, but Wisler, Edwin, Pepe and the rest of the crew made sure we had a good time anyways! Thank you guys!
The tour we did with Power adventures included parasailing, snorkelling, visit to a natural pool & drinks on a boat for 3 hours. Our hosts were super amazing. I did not get all of their names but we had a great time. The female in particular with brown hair in a ponytail, was a great bartender and everyone always made sure you had a drink in your hand. A special shout out to SAM the photographer who took some amazing shots of us, and became our friend. He was super friendly and all of our pictures turned out soooo wonderful. And also WILLIE who had great customer service and made our experience even better. We will be sure to visit when we return to DR ❤️
The snorkel swimming and parasailing tour with Power Adventures was breathtaking! We had the best weather, very good acquaintances, and the tour guides were very hospitable and kind. We can only recommend to take this tour which is worth the money you pay for ( we booked with TUI ). In the end we paid for the photos that were taken by the crew during the trip,but we never got the link via email! After contacting them via Facebook we received the images via wetransfer link within a day! Thank you for your that!!! We appreciate your fast and reliable help on this matter.. All the Best!!!
We had a blast. No issues with pickup. Staff was very helpful and fun to work with. We did snorkeling, parasailing, Scooba (hooka) diving and had a great time on the boat. Highly recommend!
