Azores Wine Heritage Tour Showcases Volcanic Vineyards and Coastal Tastings

A new guided wine experience in the Azores is offering visitors an immersive journey into the islands’ centuries-old winemaking traditions. A guided walk through mature vineyards provides a closer look at vine cultivation in the Azores’ volcanic soil, where climate and terrain play a key role in flavour development. The journey concludes at a seaside tasting area, where guests sample a curated selection of wines and spirits including Terras de Lava, Pedras Brancas, Materramenta, Angelica and traditional Aguardente. Set against sweeping coastal views, the experience is positioned as a full sensory exploration of Azorean wine culture, blending education, scenery and regional gastronomy.
