We happened across a Skate and Relate event in Deception Bay this morning. One of my boys jumped at the chance to join whilst the other agreed to have a try with some gentle encouragement. Hours later and they didnt want to leave. I have already been asked if we can head up to Coolum in the weekends ahead. Both boys managed to pick up a few skills and were beaming all the way home. They guys were kind and approachable and patient.

It is soo incredible, seeing you guys and girls teaching and influencing our youth to tackle the things we were all afraid of growing up. Visited this place early Saturday morning with my 5-year-old son. After purchasing the hour session, a young curly haired teenager came over to help my son learn how to use a board. Growing up without a father, my son has struggled with confidence in trying physical activities. He later told me that he saw the worker as a "dad". I couldn't help but cry. 10/10, would recommend, feels like family.
