We spent a wonderful 5 days here, well looked after by Oliver, Adam, Clare, Erin, and Kira. The lodge itself is lovely and comfortable. You are well looked after by all the staff and the food is excellent. The wildlife viewing and photography opportunities are outstanding with the chances of seeing grizzly bear. All the guides are excellent and very knowledgeable. The optional excursion to see the puffins is well worth it.
We had an amazing 3 days at Homestead Lodge. The staff were so talented and welcoming. Great food and hospitality that were top notch. The wildlife viewing is why we came and the bears did not disappoint. Our guide Adam Rector made the experience special, his knowledge of the wild life,flora, and history of the place is remarkable. What really stood out was his understanding of bear behavior and his ability to anticipate where bears would be and how they would move as we were watching them, and getting our group into the best position for great views and pictures. We also really enjoyed the sense of community that developed with our small group and the other guests at the Lodge. Cannot say enough good things about this place. Thank you Oliver and staff, Kia, Erin, Claire, Brooke, and Adam for an awesome time.
Well, first and foremost it's the location. It deserves 6 stars. The rooms and facilities are way more spacious and comfortable than I anticipated. I would not describe the rooms as roughing it, quite the opposite, they're very nice. But the best thing is the staff! Beyond amazing. The staff is probably the best I've ever encountered. They deserve 7 stars. The food is also exceptional.
