This was, without a doubt, the highlight of our trip to Alaska. It was easily accessible and very enjoyable for all ages, from our children to our grandparents. Captain Jake was incredibly knowledgeable and clearly passionate about marine life. He knew exactly where to find all the animals we hoped to see, including a spectacular show of breaching humpback whales, playful sea otters, and countless bald eagles. The boat was warm and comfortable with beautiful 360° views. Adding to the magic, our tour guide, Caitlyn, was friendly and engaging with fun stories and interesting facts that made the experience even more thrilling. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Sitka—it's a must-do!
Loved each team member on our excursion. They were helpful, kind and very informative. They even stopped the boat as a bear came out to take a dip in the water. The s’mores set up was great. The young man there told a few good stories. They made us all feel welcome, safe and made the experience extra special. This was my first trip to Sitka snd they made it memorable. I had an amazing experience! The tour guides were super kind and very knowledgeable on safety and the nature of the Sitka Sound. You can tell they enjoy what they do. One even caught a kelp crab for us to see. 10/10 experience. I can’t remember my tour guides’ names, but it was 9/2/25 @ 8:30a (one from Phoenix, Arizona and the other had a pretty snake pin in her hair)
