Totally recommend this place!!🏄♀️🌊 I did a group lesson and my instructor was Henry! It was my first time ever surfing in 27 years, so I was super nervous. But Henry was really friendly and explained everything clearly from the start. He stayed by my side the whole time, gave me tips on what I was doing wrong, and helped me until I could stand up. He kept checking in to make sure I wasn’t too tired, and stayed in the water with me so I could keep going as much as I wanted. Thanks to Henry, I managed to stand up pretty quickly and had one of the most unforgettable experiences of my life 🥹🫣 Huge thanks to this place and to Henry!!!!! I’d 100% recommend it to anyone 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
We (three teenage brothers) already had two three-hour lessons from Tofino Surf School. Everybody in the team was really friendly and it was very well organized with getting your wetsuits and neoprene boots. We were lucky to have Henry as an instructor both times. He's such a cool guy 🤙, very friendly, extremely knowledgeable and an amazing teacher. He helped each of us improve our surfing individually by giving tips on what we could improve, explaining new things like how to turn and even showing us some tricks. We had an amazing time with Henry and lots of fun surfing so we 10000% recommend Tofino Surf School and ask for Henry, he's fantastic, but all of the people working there were friendly. 🤙🏄♂️ We had so much fun with Henry that we still took a third lesson. We had a private lesson with him and were able to surf out in the back and catch many green waves. 😆🤙 Thanks Henry!🤙
If your thinking of doing it, DO IT. Was definitely worth it. We did the Group Lesson with three people and it was absolutely amazing. We had tons of fun with the boards and waves and our instructor Max was so patient with us, since all of us we‘re beginners. The wet suits made the cold water feel pretty warm and with Max help we we‘re actually able to get some waves. Definitely was worth the money
