We booked on to the Water Tour - George our tour guide was fantastic and he had such great stories and knowledge of the area and everything about the distillery. Thanks to him for making the tour so fun. For drivers, you get given little bottles of the samples to take away which I think is such a nice touch. Overall, all the staff were so kind and friendly, we had a great experience. Would highly recommend!
Stopped in to visit this very modern distillery. Beautiful location and extremely friendly staff. Had a browse round the shop and treated ourselves to a bite to eat. Will most definitely return for the tour next time
The visit to Lagg Distillery was overall enjoyable. The location was beautiful and the facilities were well-maintained. However, the experience at the bar left much to be desired. The staff at the bar were not particularly friendly and there was hesitation when I asked for a takeaway of the driver’s dram which I’m paying for. It was an awkward moment that felt unnecessarily uncomfortable. As someone who appreciates the brand and came all the way from Asia, I didn’t expect this kind of service. Hopefully, the team can improve on hospitality to better match the spirit of the distillery.
