Definitely a lot more interesting in the summer. The last time I was there it was cold and we only saw one alligator. Plenty of raccoons and wild hogs tho. Overall very interesting 👍

very interactive. our guide always knowledgeable and full of humor. We even got to hold a baby gator. A++ will do again

I don’t care if the boat we were on sank or caught fire — I saw a raccoon!! ♥️♥️ If I could, I’d give this place a 5-star review every day! The place is amazing, and the tour guide (boat captain) is one of the most authentic people I’ve ever come across. And not to mention, the tour features amazing animals like boars, squirrels, alligators — and of course, raccoons! Thank you so much! My 30+ hour flight just to get to the USA has definitely paid off.

Incredible experience! We were in route to New Orleans and I found this company online. We have wanted to take a swamp tour and we definitely picked the right one. Captain Dustin was knowledgeable, funny, and made sure everyone had the chance to see any and all wildlife available. The day was a bit foggy and very nice temperature, perfect for photos! We saw raccoons, wild pigs, cranes, turtles, and a TON of alligators, of all sizes!! The river is lined with cypress trees and a haunted history. The perfect way to spend Christmas eve day, and we highly recommend!!

To be honest, we left feeling a bit disappointed. There were definitely some positives: we did see a few gators, hogs, raccoons, and birds, got to take a photo with a baby alligator, and the guide’s jokes gave us a few laughs. However, the experience still felt somewhat staged. The wildlife sightings seemed almost too conveniently placed, which made the whole tour feel less authentic. Our guide also didn’t seem very engaged, almost like he wasn’t really interested in being there. We were also expecting to see more alligators. If this isn’t the best season for sightings, it would be helpful for the company to clearly communicate that before guests book the tour. Overall, not terrible — but definitely below our expectations.

We had an amazing experience with Cajun Pride Swamp Tours! Our captain, Dustin, truly made the tour unforgettable. He was incredibly informative and clearly knowledgeable about the swamp, its history, and all the wildlife that calls it home. You could tell he knew exactly how to handle both the boat and the animals with confidence and care. Captain Dustin also had a great sense of humor—his jokes kept everyone laughing and made the entire ride fun and engaging. We were able to see so much wildlife, including wild boars, raccoons, and plenty of alligators, which was definitely a highlight of the trip. Overall, the tour was entertaining, educational, and completely worth it. Highly recommend Cajun Pride Swamp Tours, especially with Captain Dustin!

It was a great day. We saw so much wildlife on the boat tour. Would have preferred a self guided tour at the plantation home. The tour group at the house was too big. A great site to visit though.
David

Basic and fun, I might have preferred a longer trip with high speed (fan propelled)
Christine
