I had my flight today and everything was amazing the views and the experience was amazing. Thank you for the experience
Possibly the worst company I have ever dealt with. Had ordered a voucher and booked a date for them to subsequently cancel the day before our flight due to 'helicopter maintenance' which seems a ridiculous excuse when they have so few dates available, you would think they'd have maintenance done before a scheduled flight.. Anyway, rebooked my date for a date a number of months in the future and realised I couldn't do this date so contacted two months in advance of this rescheduled date in order to reschedule and the only dates available were 9 days outside of my voucher's expiry date, as set before they cancelled my flight. They refused to then allow me to reschedule without paying a voucher extension fee, despite the initial cancellation being their fault where I had already lost money on accommodation and travel to the location too. Following email contact, they also refused to provide a contact number for management as there was 'no need to escalate this any further as it's been dealt with fairly and professionally'. This company absolutely borders on scam and I highly urge everyone to stay as far away from it as possible. Will be lucky if I ever get to fly with them at this rate.
So this is going to be a mixed review. Unfortunately we are like some others who had their initial flight cancelled. No clear reason was given and this was a little frustrating, especially for my autistic son who had been prepared for the adventure. No refund was offered and would not be offered unless the flight was postponed three times in a row. All that said, we had an amazing day out when we finally went up in the helicopter with Captain Dominic White who added to the experience with his professionalism and his friendly manner towards us adults and also towards my son. In summary, if you are willing to put up with a cancelled flight and postponing to a later date the experience is definitely worth it. We had a great day out and would love to do it again.
