Cruise along the legendary Yangtze River from Chongqing to Yichang on a memorable 4-day, 3-night downstream journey through the Three Gorges. Your adventure begins as you set sail from Chongqing, known as the “Mountain City,” at 9:00 pm. On Day 2, enjoy a shore excursion to Shibaozhai, a remarkable 12-story wooden pagoda perched against a cliff—often called “The Pearl of the Yangtze.” Depending on river conditions, you may instead visit Fengdu, where you’ll see a modern relocation village built for families displaced by the Three Gorges Dam. You can also opt for an excursion to Fengdu’s legendary “Ghost City,” filled with statues of demons and spirits on Mingshan Hill. All meals are included throughout the cruise as you immerse yourself in history, culture, and natural beauty.

On Day 3, you’ll enter the awe-inspiring Three Gorges, beginning with the dramatic Qutang Gorge and the serene, forest-lined Wu Gorge. Enjoy a tranquil excursion through the Goddess Stream’s narrow valleys aboard a smaller vessel—conditions may lead to a visit to the Shennong Stream gorges instead. Continue into the deepest and longest gorge, Xiling, before experiencing the engineering marvel of the Three Gorges Dam ship locks at night. An optional trip to the ancient White Emperor City, offering sweeping views over Qutang Gorge, may be available depending on conditions. On your final day, explore the colossal Three Gorges Dam in Sandouping—the largest dam on Earth—before disembarking in Yichang late in the morning. Throughout the cruise, expect a blend of scenic excursions, cultural insights, and optional adventures such as Fengdu Ghost City and White Emperor City (additional fee of 280 RMB per person each).
