I took two tours with Chris whilst I was in Malta - the Mdina/Rabat tour and the Valetta Food Tour. Both were an excellent mix of history, culture and fun. Very personable guide who has a lot of passion for his country and its story. I particularly liked that this company does small group sizes and you could tell that the content was fresh and personalised, with tips about what was happening in the city that week.
We had an amazing time on this tour! Our guide, Christian, was absolutely excellent—knowledgeable, engaging, and with a great sense of humor. He answered all our questions and made the experience both informative and fun. The tour was well-organized, and we got to see the best of Valletta while learning so much about its history. Actually the BEST tour! Carl was our guide, who shared his passion for Malta and Valletta through his wonderful story telling about the history and interesting facts! I think Malta was our favourite place because of this wonderful tour! Great value for money!
Absolutely superb walking food tour which included lots of history and cultural information. Our guide was wonderful and incredibly knowledgeable and informative. The meeting point was very easy to find, and our group of 12 was just the right size. We spent the next 3 hours strolling through the beautiful streets of the old town and visiting locally owned businesses. We started with two Pastitsi, and then moved on to fresh whole peaches, Coffee & chocolate, delicious fried fig pastries, beef stew & white wine, and finished the tour at a large restaurant where we had sandwiches with local bread & a platter of local delicacy accompanied with a beverage of our choice. Valletta is a stunning city with a long and colourful history, and this tour was a great way to experience it. We will definitely book a tour again on our next visit. Highly recommended.
We participated in an excellent Food Tour of Valletta led by Christian who hails from Rabat. A great mix of Maltese foods and walking history lesson on Malta and the walled fortress city of Valletta. The group size was perfect (9 on our tour, 10 max) and Christian kept everyone engaged with his knowledge and humor over 3.5 hours. Highly recommend this tour or any of thoseled by Best Tours Malta
