This is a hidden gem! Every step of the way was amazing. Dunrally was a beautiful boat, clean and well maintained. Our review of the boat was thorough including some helpful route suggestions which all turned out to be great! Our group of 7 comfortably fit on the boat with lots to do and keep busy. We stopped in beautiful natural areas, navigated the blocks and picnics on the shore. We had a wonderful 3 nights and are trying to figure out when we can come back for longer! This is a must do trip!

The Rock of Donamase, laois Ireland. This is an extremely beautifull place to visit. It has outstanding scenic 360 deg views of the queens county and a lovely place to visit on a bright a beautifull day. You cant get more Irish than this.

Two of us (plus the doggie) hired the Cloydagh for 3 nights in September and loved it! It was our first time on a barge so were a bit uncertain, but advice in advance from Orla and a lesson from Philip on the day of pickup put out minds at rest. The Cloydagh is cozy, easy to warm and fitted easily into locks. The lockkeepers were great at guiding us and giving us tips. The Barrow Line canal is very quiet, perfect it you want a get-away-from-it-all type of holiday.

We rented a barge for 3 nights in June and had a great time. Very quiet waterways, one particularly good pub, very relaxing. The barge had all we needed and the bed was really comfortable. It is such a quiet area that we recommend stocking up with food/drink supplies before arrival. Lock keepers are there to help with the bigger double locks. Enjoy!
