Great experience and magical views over the temples and the valley of the kings, highly recommended. Our Pilot Ragab was extremely skillful and managed to fly us low over the temple of Hatsjepsoet after which he made an ascent for a great view over the complete region and topped it off with a very smooth landing.

DO IT!! If you do nothing else in Egypt, do this. Incredible experience. I felt very safe and excited at the same time. The staff/crew are all amazing and in constant communication.

Almost the last to fly but the first to land with a short flight of 15 minutes only. They put 20 people in a basket. We didn’t even get to pass by and land across the river like the other balloons did. Had to land in a field of crops before the river. We also had to come down to help them to push the basket after it landed.

We specifically booked the sunrise ballooning. The activity says watching sunrise in the air. However, we were still waiting in a boat when sunrise is on, far away from the site (attached photo). Meanwhile, many other balloons were watching the sunrise. When we arrived the site, first group of balloons already finished and landed. We paid a premium price for the sunrise fly but they mixed us with other groups who booked the second fly which is a cheaper option. Viator should not allow this.

The car was a bit late picking us up due to a mechanical issue, so we missed out on some sleep, but we still got to the balloon site on time. Our balloon was the second one up and we had the best view in the house since we got to see all the other balloons in the distance. The pilot, Khaled, and guide, Taha, were great and I never felt unsafe. It was such a magical experience to see the sunrise over the valley! Highly recommend! I texted their number the day before and they got back to me promptly on whatsapp. They told me the pickup time the evening before. Only confusing thing, I signed up for the 5:30 pick up through this site, but when they texted, their pick up time was 4:20am. I thought 5:30 meant it would be the second wave of balloons after the sunrise. But maybe regardless of the time you select, most people want to see the sunrise so that's what they would be aiming for? Anyways, the sunrise was amazing and I'm so glad I saw it!

Everything was very good. We had a particular experience though when we landed, we did it on a sugarcane field (which seems to be normal on the area), but the farmer got really mad when the people from the balloon company told him they would not pay him for having landed in his field; so the man got really angry and did not want to let the minivan leave the place to take us back. The people from the balloon had to get tough on him, very sad to see this is quite a common situation in Egypt, everyone wants extra money from the tourists

The experience is just great! First my guide picked me up and provided me with all information I needed and furthermore asked me a few times if everything I’m okay, fluent in English, a great person. The attraction itself was marvellous. It was not too windy and we’ve been the 10th balloon who started ( still within 5 minutes from the Go from the Tower) and I’d say do that too. The landscape with already having hot air balloons in the sky is so worth it. Its like in Cappadocia(Turkey) you will like it. Thank you again my friend:).
