We had a group of friends in town and they wanted to learn more about the history of Nashville, beyond the music history downtown. We decided to do the African American History in Nashville Tour and it was seriously incredible. We learned so much and David was one of the best tour guides I've ever had. So knowledgable and such an amazing storyteller. If you're looking for a must-do tour in Nashville, this is it!

After 35 years of planning senior adult trips and hiring step on guides, I thought I had seen the best until we met David. He gave us the best tour of any city we have ever been. He was pleasant and personable, and so knowledgeable of the city he loves. Our people are still talking about about him days later.

I had a fantastic experience along with my work team as we kicked off our Nashville retreat with David. He's a fantastic storyteller with a depth of knowledge. Our tour was tailored exactly to our interests and professional focus areas -- philanthropic impact, Civil Rights, women's suffrage, and education. The personal touch of his own experiences and history adds a personal dimension that helps history come to life and show its direct relevance today. Thank you for a fantastic experience and hosting us on a tour in your city, David.

If you have not done a tour with Mr. David Ewing you are truly missing out! His passion and excellence for educating people on the historic and groundbreaking history of the Civil Rights Movement, Lunch Counter protests, and Women’s Rights movements here in Nashville was so inspiring. I had no idea how instrumental Nashville was in these pivotal movements! He is knowledgeable and through. Perfect for small or larger group. His personal connection to Nashville history is undeniable. His family legacy was also instrumental in helping us understand the magnitude and impact Nashville was throughout history. You can’t live in or come to visit Nashville without putting this tour on your agenda! We left inspired, reflective, and ready to go and get in some “good trouble”.

I organized a tour for my sorority sisters in the Alpha Delta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and it was simply phenomenal! David was a most experienced host full of passion and knowledge, insider tips on Nashville’s history, and collector of one of a kind Music City artifacts. He tailored the tour to the interests of our group and was sensitive to our needs while touring. I spoke with many tour company’s but David is the one to seek if you’re interested in a Nashville tour!!
