The park is vast and very beautiful. I rode a motorbike 122 km to reach it from Surat Thani and then walked more than 8 km inside the park. I recommend wearing comfortable clothing and suitable footwear, as there is extensive walking, along with climbing and descending through forested areas.

Amazing natural park that everybody must visit while in this area of Thailand. The color of the lake is unbelievable and the views of the mountains and the whole scenery are exceptional. You have also lots of activities to do while being there such as kayaking, standup padel, longboat riding, swimming.

Beautiful lake with floating houses. If you love nature this is the place to visit. There is a beautiful landscape with hills. The water is not super clear but definitely worth a swim

When in Thailand, definitely worth a visit - an amazing national park with Cheow Lan lake, lush forests and beautiful limestone rocks all around. We stayed on a floating lake house for one night, visited a stalactite cave and hiked up a waterfall in the forest. Definitely a unique and memorable experience ❤️

Khao Sok National Park is an incredibly beautiful and vast destination that exceeded all our expectations. We booked a full-day tour, which turned out to be the perfect way to explore such a large and diverse area. The tour started with a comfortable van ride from our hotel to the park entrance, where we met our guide who stayed with us for the entire day. His explanations and stories really enriched the experience and helped us appreciate the park even more. One of the highlights of the day was crossing the enormous, breathtaking lake on a traditional long-tail boat. The scenery was spectacular: towering limestone cliffs, lush forest, and the calm, emerald-green water created a magical atmosphere. When we reached the jungle trail, we began a pleasant walk during which our guide introduced us to the local flora and fauna. It was fascinating to learn about the unique ecosystem of the region. After the trek, we headed to a floating complex with rooms on the lake and a small restaurant where lunch was served. The meal was included in the tour and surprisingly good. We had about two hours to relax, swim near the floating huts, or paddle around the lake in a kayak—an unforgettable and peaceful moment. The last stop of the tour was a cave filled with bats. Although unusual, it was truly fascinating and added a sense of adventure to the day. I highly recommend visiting Khao Sok National Park. Its natural beauty, serenity, and well-organized tours make it a must-see destination for anyone traveling in the area.
