My wife and I had the adventure of a lifetime with Logi, owner and guide of Into The Wild ATV. His family heritage, history and deep connection to the land we explored in that area of Southern Iceland came through in his personal knowledge and wonderful stories - of myths, legends, volcanoes, plant life and more. He lives where he works! He took us on very special excursions that few would know about on their own. His easy going demeanor and great personality put us both at ease. My group of 6 was in Iceland for a week and did many adventures and tours. We all agreed our ATV tour through þorsmork with Logi from Into the wild was the best part of our really amazing trip. I emailed Logi before we booked as we were only able to come in the morning instead of his usual afternoon trip. He agreed to take us in the morning without an issue. As he only takes small groups we had a private tour with him for no extra charge! Logi was knowledgeable and funny. He took us to 3 different spots in the þorsmork Valley including a walk through a stream to a hidden waterfall. As you could only access many of these places with either a super 4x4 or ATV (we drove our ATV through a small river) it was just our group for miles around. We all agreed that we would have loved to take a longer tour with him. I have no idea why he has so little reviews here but check TripAdvisor where he has many more. Don't walk, run and book with Into the Wild with Logi!
On our ten day trip around this incredible island, our private tour with Logi in the Thórsmörk Valley was by far our favorite day. Riding in his modified vehicle was a treat in and of itself, but the secret waterfalls, in depth knowledge of the area and the good nature of our guide were experiences we will never forget. I can’t thank you enough Logi for making this trip something I will hold near to my heart for the rest of my life. I wish you and your family health and good fortune and I am counting the days until I can return to your incredible home. **If you are thinking about booking this tour, think no longer. I researched several and saw many other services around the island and am 100% confident Into The Wild was the best option out there. Don’t miss this.**
