The reason for the 3 stars is 2 fold. The experience was fabulous. The build up poor. Lots of messing about with transferees and hanging about. Collected at 4:30am our hotel is right across the water from the place but the flight didnt start till about 6:30 so we had 2 hrs of waiting, stopping at the side of the road for no reason and more stopping at the side of the road. Deal was to include breakfast. No breakfast. Balloon captain was great.

Amazing experience!! We took the first sunrise flight. The Kingtut balloon ground crew khalil was very friendly, he took good care of us from the beginning till the end of the trip. Captain Mahamad was very professional, he provided us with information about the archaeological site while flying. Not to mentioned, a very smooth landing and safe flight by Captain. Worth it!!

Just in the mini bus having just landed our first ever balloon flight. I couldn’t fault this for an experience to end our time in Luxor and I am so so pleased we booked this. Ground crew, pilot, everyone, all fantastic. For anyone thinking of doing it, I’m scared of heights and flying but it was the most gentle and peaceful experience.
