What can I say ? Absolutely brilliant tasting tour. Grainne was so enthusiastic it was infectious. We to the Cork screw for a tasting. Next it was 2210 for sweet treats . The cheese board in Fallon and Byrne was amazing and We ended up in The Rag Trader . Easily the best whiskey bar in Dublin, Thanks we will be back .
Grainne...aka the greatest tour guide ever and a wonderful Whiskey Trail tour; A Review. Overall, the experience was amazing. Getting to taste Irish Whiskeys and learn the history of the Whiskey industry and the uniqueness of each distillery and their flavors by itself, is a great experience. However, our tour guide Grainne (total badass, Whiskey connoisseur, and terrific human) was what really made this experience 5/5 (really, 10/5). Grainne has such an in-depth knowledge of the Whiskey, flavors and the histories, and is engaging to listen to. Grainne is so much fun to hangout with and introduces each Whiskey to help you really enjoy and understand it (and I say this as someone who is not typically a Whiskey person). Grainne also connects you with the local scenes and the fun, wild, and wonderful people who work in the different bars and pubs you stop in. Plus, she has a lot of great recommendations for the rest of your time in Dublin too! Also, coolest name and name origin ever! :)
Fabulous! Grainne the guide was extremely knowledgeable and engaging. The tour was well paced and the food very generous and delicious. It was raining the day of our tour and the perfect way to spend the day. Eating, drinking and in the company of good people and conversations. You can’t get more Irish than that!
