Defuse the Bomb is an immersive spy themed experience set in Weymouth where participants are recruited for a final mission that will test logic teamwork and calm under pressure. The challenge places players in a tense scenario where every decision matters and communication is key. Designed mainly for adult groups this experience focuses on problem solving and suspense rather than physical activity. Players must work together to uncover clues solve puzzles and stop the countdown before time runs out. The atmosphere is dramatic and engaging making every moment feel important and exciting.
Located within the Jubilee Hotel the experience is easy to access and supported by helpful staff on site. An adult must be present during all sessions either inside or outside the game area. Parking may be available through the hotel reception depending on availability and nearby public parking options are also accessible along the seafront. The highlight was collaborating on complex puzzles under pressure and racing to beat the bomb—ironically hoping to avoid the slime while secretly welcoming the paint, foam, or chaos. Had the best time celebrating my husbands birthday tonight. Huge shoutout to Sammy for accommodating my last minute additional guests, to Greg and Ethan being super helpful and making this experience great right from the start. (16 guests ranging from 8-50 yrs and we all came out laughing like little kids. Highly recommend!

This place was so much fun! I chose this place for my family and I to go to for my birthday and it did not disappoint. Each escape room was challenging in its own way, but my favorite was the laser room. When you reach the end of the escape rooms the paint bomb is waiting for you! It was such a cool experience and I would definitely go again. The staff were also very nice and helpful ❤️.

The concept is the bomb, literally. It’s a super fun and creative idea for an escape room where your punishment for failing is getting hit with paint, slime, or foam. The whole place has a really cool, futuristic vibe and makes for a unique experience. I was here as a guest for my daughter’s birthday party, and while the activity itself was great, the hosting experience was disappointing. I have two daughters (16 and 13) and we’ve done plenty of parties like this, but there was no host support at all. We had to handle almost everything—refills, food setup, cleanup, you name it. For what we paid, there should’ve been someone assisting throughout the event. We still made it work and the kids had fun, but honestly, I wouldn’t book another party here because of the lack of service. Great idea, poor execution.

He took the time to explain how everything worked and shared valuable information about the bundles available for schools—including STEM opportunities, field trips, and even staff team-building experiences. The atmosphere was filled with energy and joy, and every person we encountered contributed to the warm and welcoming spirit of the evening.
