Great day out a must to visit if your going to Iceland.
The Blue Lagoon is an expensive day out but, it is amazing! Floating in the lagoon, face masks that leave you skin feeling brand new and lovely toasties for brunch perfect. The staff cannot do enough for you. Shampoo, conditioner and shower gels are provided in the showers there is even body lotion for when you leave the shower area. Definitely take a waterproof cover for your phone some of the sky photos from the pool are beautiful
Blue Lagoon is undeniably beautiful and visually striking. The milky blue water set against the dark volcanic landscape creates a scene that feels almost unreal, and soaking there is genuinely relaxing, especially in cooler weather. That said, it is a very popular destination, and at times it can feel crowded and less intimate than expected. The experience is well organized and polished, but it does feel more curated than wild, which slightly takes away from the magic Iceland is known for. Still, it is iconic for a reason. A unique and enjoyable experience, especially if it is your first time in Iceland, just best enjoyed with realistic expectations.
